Brean Leisure Park gets £1.2million boost with new rides and TV campaign

-

Brean Leisure Park has spent more than £1.2million pounds on new rides for the 2006 summer season and is about to start a new TV advertising campaign.

Fun at Brean Leisure ParkBosses are embarking on a major marketing blitz ahead of the start of the busy holiday period when tens of thousands of visitors flock to the park.

Among the new rides is The X-Factory, a UK first, which at the ultimate point in the ride tilts customers forward to be sprayed with water jets.

It has been joined by The Matterhorn and the Crazy Mouse rollercoaster where the cars actually spin on the track as the ride goes along.

The traditional carousel has been replaced with the Maxwell Waltzer, a traditional favourite which has already become a big hit since being introduced at Easter.

Richard Cadell, Director of Brean Leisure Park, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “A lot of money has been invested into the park this year and in addition we have changed the layout slightly as well.”

“The park is developing very well and it’s great to be operating some fabulous rides.”

The new season has also seen the site invest in a state of the art new crazy golf course, based at the Fun Park, for those who would prefer to keep their feet on the ground.
