A teenager had to be airlifted to hospital after suffering an injury during a cycling accident on Brean Down on Monday night (June 6th).
Two ambulances were called to the top of the Down at 6.40pm after the boy fell off his bike.
“A rapid response car and an ambulance were called to the scene. Due to the nature of the teenager’s injuries, a helicopter was also called,” ambulance spokesman Dave Rogers told Burnham-On-sea.com.
The boy was flown to Royal United Hospital in Bath for treatment with what Burnham-On-Sea.com understands were serious arm injuries.
