In Photos: Classic vehicle show in Brean raises funds for charity

Over 100 vehicles went on show during a classic and American vehicle show in Brean on Sunday (May 31st).

The Bridgwater Classic & Vintage Club, along with the Blueridge Runners, organsied the successful event in aid of Somerset & Dorset Air Ambulance.

Crowds of spectators attended the event at the Sundowner Cafe at Beachside Holiday Park in Brean.

Vehicles from across the eras attended, including those pictured here – a 1951 MG TD owned by Richard Blissett. a 1934 Merc 500k replica owned by Tony Head.

The vehicles also included motorcycles, military and emergency vehicles, historic and classic cars, American cars and hot rods.

Visitors were able to listen and dance to the sounds of the 50’s & 60’s with The Difibrillators, followed by a rock and roll disco. Also in the afternoon, Vic Perrin from the Sundowner cafe completed a full head shave in aid of charity.

Organiser Rob Coombes told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We had a really good turbout of over 100 vehicles and a good number of spectators too. Having the Bridgwater Classic & Vintage Club, and the Blueridge Runners involved has really helped us to grow.”
