Members of a Highbridge boxing club welcomed a British champion on Saturday night (December 3rd).
Lee Haskins, a professional boxer, has fought in the Flyweight, Super Flyweight and Bantamweight divisions and is currently the reigning British super flyweight champion and Prizefighter champion.
He was the special guest at King Alfred Amateur Boxing Club’s competition night, which saw more than a dozen bouts taking place at King Alfred School featuring the best of Burnham and Highbridge’s up-and-coming boxers.
“It was great to have such an inspirational boxer along to watch the club’s fights tonight,” the club’s Roger Cross told Burnham-On-Sea.com. “It was a great evening of action involving many of the club’s top boxers.”
