A youngster at Highbridge’s Titans Boxing Club has received an award for his excellent attendance over the past year.

Leon Mills, 11, received a pair of boxing boots from Club Coach Pete Stacey and Assistant Coach John Swansbury this week.

Coach Pete Stacey said: “Leon has been with the club since 2008 and has had an excellent attendance record. His dedication and commitment has set him in good stead for a good future in amateur boxing.”

The club holds traing sessions for boys and girls at Burnham-On-Sea’s BAY Centre in Cassis Close every Monday and Friday from 6.15pm–7.30pm. Youngsters from the age of nine are welcomed. The club is offering the first week’s session free.
