Thousands of books will be available to buy when a special Book Fair is held in Brent Knoll this coming wekend.
The event will be held at Brent Knoll Parish Hall on Saturday 19th March and Sunday 20th March from 10am-4pm on both days.
Organiser John Page said: “Every month, at the Brent Knoll Bazaar, we have a book stall, which has always been very popular. We always try to have differing books on sale each month, so that our regular customers have an opportunity to find new works by their favourite authors or can be inspired by different writers or topics.”
“Recently we have had a considerable number of good books given to us, which means we do not have space to hold all of our stock, so we thought that many of them could be of interest to people in Brent Knoll or in the surrounding towns and villages, so, before disposing of quite a few, we though it may be a nice idea to have a Book Fair, when all our books could be on display.”
“Brent Knoll Parish Hall will be full of literally thousands of books for sale this weekend.”
He added that two local authors, Joy Kenward and Andy Cruikshank, will be on hand both days to sign copies of their books and chat about writing novels.
