Burnham-On-Sea Police issue appeal after boat and engine are stolen

Burnham-On-Sea Police have appealed for help after thieves stole a speedboat and its engine from a business in the town.

The Crusader boat and grey Mercury 85hp outboard engine were taken from outside the Marine Boat Shed on Westmans Trading Estate in Burnham’s Love Lane this week.

“The theft occurred between the 30th and 31st of August between 9pm and 5.30pm. The boat was resting on a silver trailer and was taken from the yard,” PC Ian Bartlett from Burnham Police told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“The boat is distinctive and has Union Jack markings on the rear and a red stripe on the side.”
