Brean Leisure Park is to hold a family fun day today (Saturday, September 16th) with a range of activities lined up.
The ‘Charity Fun Day’ will run from 11am-3pm and will feature bouncy castles, stalls, a surf simulator challenge, family entertainment and more.
The event is being held to raise funds for BARB Search & Rescue, the Burnham-On-Sea charity that runs the area’s life-saving rescue hovercrafts.
“The event will be a lot of fun for children of all ages and we hope many families will come along to support this excellent cause,” said organiser John Russell.
“BARB’s volunteers do superb work all year round in helping to keep our coastline safe, and we wanted to put on an event here in Brean to thank them for their greatly appreciated work,” he added.
