A housing developer has this week been given permission to build 48 new homes in Burnham-On-Sea.
Swindon-based Bloor Homes had applied to construct the properties on land off Thorndike Way and Cookson Close.
The development of one, two and three bed homes will comprise of affordable homes and open market housing.
The plans drawn up by the developer also include a new public open space and off-street parking.
The developer was given the go-ahead at Tuesday’s meeting of the Sedgemoor District Council development control committee.
