As the summer term comes to an end, the children and staff of Brent Knoll Primary School entertained parents and friends at their annual Tea Party, where a new mini classroom was also unveiled.
The guest of honour at the event was John Harris of West Croft Farm, which is located in the village.
Mr Harris recently made a gift to the school which has enabled headteacher Chris Burman to invest in a new mini-classroom.
Chris told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “John’s donation was very generous and it will have a real impact on learning in the school as space is limited.”
“We were also delighted to receive John’s second gift of a Kate Lynch painting, showing the annual wassail at West Croft, an event the school loves to participate in.”
The afternoon Tea Party involved children singing, reading poems, dancing and receiving awards.
