Bikers gear up for fundraising bike ride for Burnham-On-Sea charity

-

Motorcyclists from across Somerset are being invited to take part in a fundraising bike ride in aid of a Burnham-On-Sea charity this Sunday (May 26th).

Somerset Motorcycle Group is organising a 100 mile bike run, starting from Highbridge’s Bristol Bridge Inn which will finish on Burnham’s seafront.

Organiser Norman Templeman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “All motorcyclists are very welcome to join us on our fifth annual ‘Hover Run’ in aid of Burnham’s rescue hovercraft charity BARB.”

“We’ll be meeting at the Bristol Bridge Inn on the A38 in Highbridge at 10am and then leaving at around 10.30am.”

“The run will go down the A38 to Creech St. Michael, then over to Ilminster, along the A303 to the Cartgate Roundabout, where there will be a break for a food and drink break.”

“From there, we’ll go up through to Wells and Cheddar and then finish at the hovercraft station at Burnham-On-Sea. It will be a friendly, fun day that is open to all.”
