Police in Burnham-On-Sea have this week retrieved a stolen motorbike found dumped in a pond besides a river in the town.
Officers were called to the River Brue, as pictured, after a walker spotted the machine in the water on Monday (November 16th).
A commercial recovery service from Weston-super-Mare was called to help remove the machine.
Police spokesman Wayne Baker told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “A Honda motorbike which had been reported stolen was recovered from a pond off Marine Drive. The bike was partially submerged.”
The bike is believed to have been stolen from outside a property in Highbridge, but anyone with information is urged to contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
