The community group that runs Burnham’s Tourist Information Centre has this week launched a new website.
The new BIARS (Burnham Information and Rescue Support) website, supported by Burnham-On-Sea.com, includes accommodation and attraction listings plus an events calendar for Burnham, Highbridge and the surrounding villages. It can be found here.
Also featured in the calendar are several events organised by BIARS, including Art and Craft weekends, Photography and Historical weekends, a Victorian weekend, Burnham and Highbridge Youth weekend (including the Youth Parade) and the return of Burnham’s Pirate Day.
BIARS Business and Tourism Manager Ian Jefferies said: “Our aim with the website and events are to make Burnham and the local villages a more attractive holiday destination and to make it a more enjoyable place to live. Working with other organisations including Burnham-On-Sea.com, the Town Team, Chamber of Trade, town and district councils and accommodation and attraction providers, we are pushing to improve what our area has to offer.”
