Fun-loving head teacher Lee Chandler gamely went into the stocks at Berrow School’s summer fete at the weekend.
He had sponges thrown at him by the pupils of class 4, who had won a competition which raised more than £220 for school funds.
Organiser Carole Hellend said the event had been a “great success”, with lots of attractions proving popular, including displays, a dog agility show, plus football and skittles games.
