Children at Berrow Primary School have been taking part in a special week of book-themed activities.
In addition to reading sessions, the youngsters have been creating colourful bookmarks during the school’s annual celebration of books.
A successful scholastic book fair was also held in the school’s grounds.
Mrs James, the school’s literacy co-ordinator, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The children came up with some really wonderful bookmark designs and it was very hard to choose a winner. The winners were each given a book as their prize.”
