A two week closure of a busy route between Burnham-On-Sea and Berrow has been postponed due to the wintry weather.
Somerset County Council had announced that Berrow Road would be shut to all traffic from January 11th between the junction with Links Gardens and the junction with Ash Tree Road, as pictured here.
However, the wintry weather has led to the work being delayed. Somerset County Council spokeswoman Elizabeth Kulh told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “These planned Public Utility works have been postponed due to the weather conditions. They will be rescheduled once conditions improve.”
