Berrow Primary School is declared ‘outstanding’ in annual inspection

Berrow Primary School is celebrating this week after being declared “outstanding” in an inspection.

The school’s received its National Society Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools Report (SIAMs Report) and has achieved ‘outstanding’ in all three categories.

The three are Church Distinctiveness and Effectiveness as a Church of England School; The Impact of Collective Worship and The Effectiveness of Leadership and Management of the School as a Church School.

Lee Chandler, Headteacher at Berrow Primary School, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “I’m so pleased that the school got the judgement it deserves – this is an excellent school, with very caring and committed children, staff, parents and governors and I am very proud to be the Head of such a school.”
