Brand new images showing how a proposed new £2.5million medical centre near Burnham-On-Sea will look have been unveiled.
Burnham-On-Sea.com exclusively reported in November how fresh plans for Berrow Medical Centre in Brent Road had been resubmitted for consideration by planners eight months after the first set of proposals were withdrawn amid concern that the building was out-of-keeping.
The centre, which will include two new NHS dentists and extra medical services to help relieve the pressure on Burnham’s busy Love Lane health centre, has been updated with a new colour scheme to make it blend it better with the surrounding scenery, as pictured here.
The application won the backing of town councillors last year and a final decision on the application will soon be made by the district council. The scheme is being funded by the partners of Burnham Medical Centre, along with Somerset Primary Care Trust.
