Four people were taken to hospital following a two-vehicle accident in Berrow on Wednesday evening (August 22nd).
Two fire appliances from Burnham plus a rescue tender and support vehicle from Weston-super-Mare were sent to Coast Road at 7.06pm.
“On arrival, crews discovered a two vehicle RTC with three persons not medically trapped,” said a fire spokesman.
“Crews used cutting gear to remove three casualties and left them in the hands of the ambulance.”
An ambulance spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com that four people had been taken by ambulance to Weston Hospital. He added that their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening .
