Police issue appeal after man assaulted outside Berrow club

Burnham-On-Sea Police are appealing for witnesses after a theft and assault in Berrow last weekend.

It happened between 12.20am and 12.40am on Saturday (October 29th) outside Berrow and Brean Recreation Club.

“A man saw a group of people trying to steal a bike and when he confronted them to stop the bike from being stolen he was punched and then kicked to the floor. The man suffered a broken collar bone,” said a police spokesman.

“It is possible that there were four to five young men in the group involved.”
