In photos: Crowds head to Berrow Church for summer fete fun
Big crowds flocked to Berrow Church’s annual summer fete on Saturday (August 29th).
An afternoon of dry weather attracted large crowds to the popular event at St Mary’s Church, where entertainment was held alongside traditional stalls and games.
A coconut shy and card games were among the attractions, which Berrow Church’s Rev Marion Hance had helped to raise funds for the church.
A gymnastics display was performed by Burnham’s Monarchs Gymnastics Club.
A kung fu display was laid on by Berrow-based Kung Fu group Fei Lung Kwan.
The crowds were also entertained by Burnham’s U3A Ukele Group.
Stalls and displays kept the visitors entertained through the afternoon.
Books, bric-a-brac, cakes and more went on sale for the church.
A traditional tombola also proved popular through the afternoon.
