A Berrow Christmas gift fair attracted crowds of shoppers on Sunday (18th November), raising funds for a Somerset cancer charity.
The annual ‘Shop for a Cure for Christmas’ was held in Berrow Village Hall where a wide range of stalls was set up selling a great line-up of Christmas crafts and gifts.
Organiser Holly MacBeth of Somerset Breast Cancer Now told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Another fantastic day, with £691.84 raised! We had a brilliant turnout from the general public yet again and it was so lovely to see so many people.”
“We thank everyone involved, from those who gave donations of cakes and tombola prizes, to those who simply came down to help us raise money!”
“Without your help we can’t raise awareness and funds into the research for breast cancer, so we thank you! Here’s to next year – thank you from all the Somerset group!”
Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge’s Mayor and Mayoress, Bill and Frances Hancock, were among the visitors giving their support to Holly and the team at Sunday’s event.
