A Burnham-On-Sea man is due to appear before Sedgemoor magistrates later this month after a dramatic accident in which this Bentley convertible careered through a wall into the front garden of a vicarage in the town on Wednesday (November 5th).
As first reported by Burnham-On-Sea.com earlier this week, police rushed to the property in Rectory Road at 8.30pm to find the car had allegedly struck another vehicle and ploughed through a wall – but no-one had been injured.
Police spokesman Steve Game told Burnham-On-Sea.com on Friday (November 7th): “A 32 year-old male was taken to Bridgwater police station after being arrested near the scene of the crash.”
“He was charged with failing to provide a specimen and failing to stop at the scene of the accident.”
“He has been bailed to appear at Sedgemoor Magistrates Court on November 18th.”
