One of Somerset’s longest running drama groups, the Burnham Excellent Entertainment Society, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a fun-packed performance of the family musical Seussical this weekend.
The group – which is also known as BEES – is marking its 25th year with two performances at Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre on Saturday 20th July at 7pm and Sunday 21st July at 3pm.
“Seussical TYA is a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza adapted for younger audiences and fun for all the family with Dr. Seuss’ best-loved characters colliding and cavorting in an unforgettable musical caper!” said the group’s Vikki Adams.
“Watch BEES lovingly bring to life your favourite Dr Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, Lazy Mayzie and a little girl with a big imagination – Jojo.”
“The colourful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos.”
Tickets are priced at £10 each or concessions at £8 (Extra discounts for FOTP members).
Tickets are available from www.theprincesstheatre.co.uk or 01278 784464.
