Burnham-On-Sea’s annual Beer Festival makes a return to the town this weekend.
Now in its fith year, it will be hosted by The Ritz Social Club in Victoria Street from Friday April 29th.
The 2016 Burnham Beer Festival aims to attract real ale fans to the town from a wide area and runs over the May Bank Holiday weekend.
This year’s festival features a line-up of mainly local real ales including Yeovil Ales Summerset, Skinners Ginger Tosser, Glastonbury Ales Lovemonkey and the Quantock Brewery’s Royal Stag.
A beer tasting and voting card will be handed out to everyone on arrival and half pint beer vouchers will be on sale.
One Brewery will win the 2016 ‘best beer of the festival‘ award, as voted for by festival visitors. A beer tasting and voting card will be handed out to everyone on arrival and half pint beer vouchers will be on sale.
Live music on the Ritz Stage this year features The Winkers on Friday night, Odds to End and Snappa on Saturday night. Sunday afternoon will see an open mic session followed by Vermin in the evening and on Monday afternoon it’s a ’Battle of the Bands’ session.
The Burnham on Sea Beer Festival starts at 6pm on Friday 29th April and is then open from midday all weekend. Admission is free.
