Burnham-On-Sea is set to hold a three-day beer festival over the May Bank Holiday weekend.
Organisers of the second annual Burnham Beer Festival, which will be held at the Ritz Social Club in Victoria Street, hope it will attract devotees of real ale from across the area.
The Burnham Beer Festival runs from from midday until late on Saturday 4th May, Sunday 5th May and Monday 6th May.
The event will feature a wide range of real ales, including such gems as Stonehenge Breweries ‘Danish Dynamite’, Cheddar Ales ‘Totty Pot’ plus a selection of traditional local Farmhouse ciders.
The Ritz Travers suite is the hub of the Festival although visitors are welcome to use all of the Ritz Bars and there will be some great live music on stage at regular intervals though the weekend. This year features two well known local bands, Snatch & co on the Saturday night and Atticus Finch on the Sunday night.
Home cooked food will be available during the festival and other activities include Skittles, traditional pub games and a big prize charity raffle. More details are available from The Ritz on 01278 785365.
