Burnham-On-Sea is holding a three-day beer festival over this May Bank Holiday weekend.
The Burnham Beer Festival runs on Saturday 5th May, Sunday 6th May and Monday 7th May from midday until late each day.
The event is being held at the Ritz Social Club in Victoria Street and organisers hope it will attract devotees of real ale from across the area.
It will feature a wide range of real ales, including such gems as Stonehenge Breweries ‘Danish Dynamite’ and Cheddar Ales ‘Totty Pot’ plus a selection of traditional farmhouse ciders and European bottled beers.
“The Travers Suite will be the focal point of the festival, although visitors are welcome to use all of the bars and there will be live music on stage at regular intervals during the weekend, with 80s band The Reflex headlining Saturday night,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“A full list of the beers and ciders on offer will be available, and a beer menu will be handed out on arrival. Real ale vouchers will be sold at £1.25 per half-pint.”
Food will also be available during the festival and activities include a big prize open skittles competition, traditional pub games and raffles for the event’s charities, BARB and the RNLI.
