Record numbers of real ale lovers flock to Burnham-On-Sea Beer Festival

-

The third annual Burnham-On-Sea Beer Festival has been hailed a success after a record turnout at the event over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Large numbers of real ale lovers flocked to the event over the four days at Burnham’s Ritz Social Club in Victoria Street to sample 15 local beers and hear a great line-up of live local music acts perform.

The club’s Paul Hale told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “This weekend has seen a record number of people attend the festival. In its third year the festival has grown every year with an extra 25% more real ales and an extra day added to this years programme.”

“We were blessed with fantastic local entertainment over the course of the festival and our sincere thanks go to all of the acts for their professionalism.”

“Rustique opened and closed the festival and headlining acts from Six Machine and Talk Show Hosts were complimented with Debbie Beckett, Nick Elswood, Breeze and the Giant Cakes, who made their debut performance on the Sunday night.”

“The success of this year’s festival has confirmed that next year it will be returning.”
