Burnham-On-Sea Beavers donned 3D glasses when they were treated to a special visit to the town’s cinema at the weekend to mark the end of the group’s 25th anniversary year.
Over 40 youngsters and leaders flocked to the Ritz Cinema in Victoria Street, as pictured, to watch the hig-screen hit ‘Arthur Christmas’.
Beavers Leader Mandy Williams told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The Beavers in Burnham have had a very busy year this year celebrating our 25th birthday by partying, holding lots of challenges and taking part in new adventures including entering Burnham’s Carnival in November.”
“To end this magical year and as a special treat from the leaders, our Christmas gift to the children was to treat them to see the film ‘Arthur Christmas’ at the Ritz. Everyone had a great time and chuckled their way through the film.”
She added: “Our thanks go to all of the Beavers and their parents who have made our 25th year so special. Thanks also go to Pat, Beryl and the staff of the Ritz Cinema for their hospitality on Saturday.”
