Beach wardens in Berrow and Burnham-On-Sea get new-look vehicle for summer

-

Beach wardens in Berrow and Burnham-On-Sea have a new-look vehicle for the summer holiday season.

Sedgemoor District Council, which manages our local beaches, has just taken delivery of a new beach patrol vehicle.

“During the beach season, from April to September, the vehicle will patrol Berrow beach,” spokeswoman Claire Faun told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“It is used as a beach-base for the beach wardens and carries beach safety equipment and first aid.”

“The vehicle is used to attend incidents and to patrol the beach areas between Berrow and Burnham-On-Sea.”
