A holidaymaker was taken to hospital on Saturday afternoon (June 10th) after injuring herself in a fall on Burnham beach.
Phillis Phillips, who is believed to be in her 20s, suffered a suspected broken ankle after stepping into a deep hole dug in the sand.
Burnham’s Beach Warden was quickly on the scene and alerted paramedics, who took the lady to Weston General Hospital.
