Deadline approaches for Burnham-On-Sea beach concessions

-

Burnham-On-Sea businesses have just a few days left to apply for beach concessions for the next three years.

A district council spokesman said offers are now invited for beach concessions at Burnham-On-Sea, Apex Park and Berrow Beach for the 2007, 2008 and 2009 seasons.

In Burnham, the beach concessions cover donkey and pony rides, a bouncy castle, inflatable assault course, surf simulator, ice creams and seafood stalls.

The council is also offering concessions for a trampoline, beach requisite stall and deck chair hire facility, Punch and Judy (pictured above) and land train.

At Berrow Beach, the concessions include a refreshment stall, beach requisites, deckchair hire (2007 only), kites, bouncy castle, and ice creams. At Apex Park, the catering concession covers refreshments and light snacks.

The closing date for offers is Friday 2nd March 2007 at 12pm. For more details, contact Sedgemoor District Council’s Valuation department by email or by calling 01278 435331.
