Strong onshore winds provided ideal conditions for kite buggying racers from across the region at Brean on Sunday (March 2nd).
Over 30 racers competed in the annual Connor Endurance Race, named after a 14 year-old enthusiast who died of a terminal illness.
Run by the South West Association of Traction Kiting (SWATK), the race is one of several held on Brean beach throughout the year. Sue Coombes, SWATK chairman, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We’ve had a great day’s racing, helped by the brisk winds.”
The family of Connor Moses are hoping to raise thousands of pounds towards mobility equipment as a lasting legacy to the teenager.
