Sedgemoor District Council has this week given the go-ahead for a seafront cafe in Burnham-On-Sea to build a new covered extension.
The Bay View Cafe on the South Esplanade has won approval for an extension to its north elevation.
The cafe will install an 8.75m wide by 6m single storey projecting glass roof aluminium veranda to allow customers to use the area in all weather conditions year-round.
This week’s approval comes after the Town Council’s Planning Applications Committee considered the plans last month and also gave the scheme its backing.
