A shop window bauble competition in Highbridge has been hailed a success after it attracted support from almost 40 businesses and drew families into the town over the Christmas holiday period.
The competition ran in business windows across the town where numbered baubles were on display.
When a bauble was found, the participants entered the number on an entry form to be in in with a chance of winning a prize.
In the seven and under age group, the prizes were won by Shelby-Ann Lyes and Connor Hall, with second Faith Wiliams, third Theo Pursey and fourth Tarra Walker.
In the 8-11 age category, first was Ewan Lyes, second was Jacob McKenna and third was Ruby Chidley.
Sharon Reid, one of the organisers, told Burnham-On-Sea.com the event had been a great success with 39 companies taking part.
“Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to all the children and their parents who took part – not only did they enjoy this but the traders and businesses involved loved seeing you all hunting for the baubles. Thank you from all the traders and businesses in making this a success.”
