The first in a series of four performances featuring TV puppet Basil Brush entertained families at Brean Leisure Park this week.
Basil – famously known for his ‘boom, boom’ catchphrase – has shown he can still make people of all ages laugh with his stories, jokes and ribald comments.
His show business career spans 40 years and he also has a new generation of fans who watch him on childrens TV channel CBBC.
Richard Cadell, Director of Cadells Amusements at Brean Leisure Park, said: “It’s a real coup to have Basil here at Brean for the summer season. Judging from his first performance here, every one of his shows will be a hugely successful sell out.”
Basil is appearing every Saturday morning at 11am until August 26th. Entry is free and seats are available on a first come, first served basis.
