A Turkish barber shop has opened in Burnham-On-Sea this week with the promise of offering something completely different to existing hairdressers.
Yusuf Kilinc has opened ‘Alexander’s Barber Shop’ at 16 Abingdon Street to provide hair cutting, wet shaves, hot towels, fades, patterns and threading.
Yusuf told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “I recently moved into Burnham from Wales and saw an opportunity to open a new type of barber shop in the town. I am offering something very different – a traditional Turkish barber shop – with high quality services that will appeal to all ages.”
He added that the new business – which is named after his son, Alexander – is open Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm. Walk-ins are welcome and no appointments are needed.
A Burnham Chamber of Trade spokesman welcomed the opening of a new business in the town centre.
