Burnham-On-Sea’s rescue hovercraft charity is holding a unique 50/50 auction today (Saturday, October 13th).
The 50/50 charity auction is being held in St Andrew’s Church Hall in Burnham-On-Sea in aid of BARB Search & Rescue.
Organiser Craig Dunbar said: “If you are having a de-clutter or have household items you just don’t want anymore, you can raise funds for yourself and BARB at the same time. All proceeds will be divided between the providers of the lots and BARB.”
Items of value for the auction should be delivered to St Andrew’s Hall between 10.30am and 12.30pm on Saturday 13th October.
Each individual lot must be described on an auction entry form which must be submitted to the organisers on the day. Electrical items, weapons or large furniture will not be accepted.
Viewing will be held between 12.30pm and 2.30pm on Saturday 13th with bidding starting at 2.30pm. Refreshments will be available.
Those items that sell you see the seller receiving 50% of sale price and the remainder going to BARB Search & Rescue. Full terms are on BARB’s Facebook page.
