Burnham and Highbridge Band will hold its annual Christmas concert on Sunday 19th December in the town’s Princess Theatre.
The band’s Musical director, David Fisher, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “This is a regular and popular performance and the last three years have proved to be almost total sell-outs.”
“This year’s concert will contain a number of solo items, duets, novelty numbers as well as a wide assortment of stirring, seasonal brass band music. If you like to join in, there will also be some carols for you to sing along to with the band.”
Tickets are priced at £6 each, or £5 for over 65s and under 16s, and are available from band members or on the door until the hall is full. Tickets can also be reserved by ringing the secretary, Ken Henton, on 01278 641278. The event wil start at 7.45pm.
The band will also be playing carols in the entrance foyer to Asda in Highbridge on Saturday 18th December and Saturday 24th December from 10am to 12 noon. A collection will be split with Help for Heroes. They will play again on the evening of Monday 20th December, together with singers from Asda’s staff.
