Final rehearsals are underway at a drama group near Burnham-On-Sea as it plans to hold its annual Christmas revue.
Brent Amateur Dramatics (BAD) is holding ‘A BAD Broadcasting Company TV Presentation’ featuring entertainment, music, dance and sketches poking fun at well-known television shows.
The curtain raises on the first of two performances at 7pm this Friday (27th November), with the second taking pace at the same time on Saturday (28th November).
“This year, BAD have honed their attention to TV and are poking gentle fun at the TV programmes we all love or hate including Corrie, Emmerdale and Strictly,” the show’s director, Kathie Dowson, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“We are so lucky to have such talent in this village – let’s support them and give them a full house on each night.”
Tickets are on sale, priced £7.50, at Brent Knoll Village Shop or by calling Pauline Chadwick on 01278 760 224. The event is being held in aid of Parish Hall funds.
Light refreshments will be served in the interlude and there will also be a bar and raffle.
