Burnham-On-Sea fire crews rescue 18-month-old child stuck in car

Burnham-On-Sea firefighters rescued an 18-month child stuck in a car at a local garden centre on Monday afternoon (October 16th).

One fire crew from Burnham-On-Sea was sent to Sanders Garden World in Bristol Road, Brent Knoll shortly before 1.10pm.

“A child had been accidentally locked in a car,” fire service spokesman Paul Slaven told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“On arrival crews discovered one small child locked in a vehicle and used small tools to release the child.”

The child was not hurt.
