Baby trapped in car is released unharmed by Burnham fire crew

-

A young baby has been rescued by Burnham-On-Sea firefighters after getting stuck in a car this evening (Monday, March 18th).

A Burnham fire crew was called to a home in Berrow Road just before 7.30pm after reports that an eight month old baby had accidentally become locked in a car.

“Crews were able to open the door of the vehicle using small tools and release the infant inside,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

He added that the youngster was unharmed in the incident and duty of care was left with a responsible adult.
