Dirt was flying and engines were revving when autograss fans from across the country flocked to Highbridge at the weekend for the annual National Autograss Grand Prix.
Large crowds turned out to watch two days of high-speed action at the Somerset Raceway track, next to the Oaktree speedway track, on Saturday and Sunday (October 3rd and 4th).
More than 200 racing drivers attended the event to compete in 24 different classes. Organiser Helen Richards told Burnham-On-Sea.com it had been a success.
“We’ve had a good turnout of drivers and spectators for this annual two-day event,” she said. “The sport continues to grow in popularity.”
