Burnham-On-Sea Police have appealed for witnesses following an assault in the town earlier this week.
Officers were called to Oxford Street on Monday evening (February 22nd) where a man had been attacked.
“At around 8.30pm on Monday evening, a man in his 40s was pushed over and assaulted outside Buncombes Electricals in Oxford Street,” said a spokesman.
“Police are keen to hear from anyone in the area at the time and are interested to speak to a group of seven or eight teenagers wearing hoodies who may be able to assist our enquiries.”
Anyone with information should contact Burnham-On-Sea Police via the non-emergency number 101.
“We won’t tolerate behaviour like this in the area and take it very seriously,” added the spokesman.
