A motorist was allegedly assaulted in Highbridge after an altercation with a man over damage to his car on Tuesday (October 25th).
Officers were called just after 1pm to reports of an incident in Bennett Road near Gass Close on the Isleport Business Park.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Constabulary said: “We were called at 1.05pm to reports of a disturbance on Bennett Road. Officers attended and have been at the scene after being told a man had been assaulted after a dispute over damage to a vehicle.”
“It was alleged that the victim, in his 40’s, had been hit by another man. He did not receive treatment from the ambulance service. No arrests have been made yet.”
