Burnham-On-Sea Police have arrested a person after a man was assaulted outside this town centre shop last week.
The incident took place outside the former S&A Linens shop in Burnham-On-Sea High Street on Sunday evening, March 4th.
Police say a 19 year-old man has been arrested. A Police spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were called to reports of an assault outside a second hand shop in the High Street in Burnham-On-Sea at about 8.15pm on Sunday.”
“The male victim was assaulted and a cut on his head required stitches.”
He added: “Our investigation into the incident is continuing.”
Police are also investigating damage inside the premises. A Police Scientific Investigations team was seen at work at the shop last week, as pictured here.

S&A Linens left Burnham-On-Sea High Street last year and it is now based at S&A Furnishings in Burnham’s Victoria Street.
