Festive entertainment in store for Highbridge Christmas shoppers
The foyer of a Highbridge supermarket has been a hive of festive activity this week as carol singers entertain shoppers.
The Burnham and Highbridge Town Band, Coastline Singers and a group of Churchfield School pupils have been performing at Asda to raise money for charity.
Coastline Singers spokeswoman Jacqueline Grimsley told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Due to the kindness of the shoppers, we raised £47.91 which will go towards our fundraising this year for Children’s Hospice South West.”
The Burnham and Highbridge Town Band also played carols on Monday evening and will also be playing again in the Asda foyer on Christmas Eve from 10am to 12 noon when the collection will be in aid of Help for Heroes.
