Emergency services were called to the car park at Highbridge’s Asda store on Saturday afternoon (April 25th) after an accident.

A Peugeot collided with several recycling bins and other vehicles at the front of the store, as pictured here.

Police sealed off the area around the vehicle and a fire crew from Burnham-On-Sea was called to make the vehicle safe. A police spokesman said there had been no serious injuries.

A fire spokesman added: “One appliance from Burnham assisted with scene safety following a collision in a car park in Highbridge.”

“The vehicle had collided with several vehicles and a wall.”

“Police and Ambulance were in attendance assessing the driver of the vehicle.”
