Highbridge and Burnham Artists have begun making ‘Denizens of the Deep’ for their summer arts festival which takes place next month.
The festival will be held on Saturday 14th July from 10am to 4pm in Apex Wildlife Park.
“Local artists are working in schools, youth clubs, residential homes and in their own studios to make glorious sea creatures for the sculpture trail,” one of the organisers, Sue Hammond-Lovatt, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“The sculpture trail forms just part of the festival, now in its fifth year. Visitors will also be able to have a go at making their own sea creatures in the marquee where free art activities will be held. There will be lots of other art-related things to see and do with live music too.”
