The organisers of Burnham and Highbridge’s annual arts festival are to hold a fun-filled day of family arts activities in Burnham’s Community Centre today (Saturday, September 10th).
The event, called Alice In the Community Centre, will include an art and craft fair plus numerous activities from 10am-4pm.
“This is the replacement to the cancelled last day of our arts festival on July 17th due to bad weather. At least the weather won’t be an issue this time as we’ll be inside!” organiser Margaret Micklewright, from HABA (Highbridge and Burnham Artists), told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“There will be a chance to meet the characters from Alice In Wonderland, paint a magic mushroom and caterpillar, make masks, enter competitions for fancy dress and hat making, join a willow workshop, plus enter a prize raffle.”
The day will also include a Mat Hatter’s Tea Party at 3pm, with tickets costing £1.50 on the day.
